These guys are ancient and one of the more obscure Swedeath bands that were popping up all over at the time. So what sets these guys apart from that classic old school Swedish DM sound? Dual vocals. A brand new concept at the time, nobody had even thought of using two separate vocalists in their DM. This is not to say they were the first, but their influence is certainly felt today. You get your basic death grunt, very deep and dirty, but there is also a higher pitched Autopsy-like set of vocals to accompany the growling. May have seemed like a bad idea at the time, but Belsebub managed to pull it off quite spectacularly. The two styles complement each other perfectly and it almost sounds like they're having a conversation, which makes this a very interesting, and attention-grabbing listen. Go for this if you're curious as to where it all started.
